Mayla introduces SPEEDSTER, a range of leisure catamarans oriented towards performance, without sacrificing usability. Derived from offshore competition designs, power catamarans are extremely efficient in terms of performance, weight and fuel efficiency.
With their wider beam, almost constant from the bow to the aft, catamarans are spatious and very stable at anchor or mooring. They constitute the ideal craft to enjoy coastal or inland waters for a day.

Deck layout variations
The deck of the Mayla SPEEDSTER range is designed to provide the highest standards of comfort and safety at high speed.
Spacious cockpits with ergonomic seating may be completed on all models with an open bow lounge for additional capacity and resting space at anchor.
According to the preferences, the windshield is kept continuous (access to the bow is then under it) or divided in two to enable walking through.
For boaters adept of beaching, an open bow can be completed with a walk-off path to enable stepping down from the boat in shallow waters and avoid proximity to the propellers.
The Mayla signature is found in every detail -in the build and finish quality, using exceptional materials as well as the best available components and equipment. This participates to convey a unique sensation of exclusivity from the moment one steps on board.

All seats are hand-made, covered with genuine marine grade outdoor Alcantara®.
The fabric has a special treatment that makes it particularly UV-resistant and remains cool under the summer sun.

Technology
Hull design and construction
The Mayla SPEEDSTER hulls are conceived by renowned US catamaran experts.
The hulls are built in carbon sandwich composite with Core Lite PVC foam core. The transom is built with T240 foam. Balsa core and Diab foam are used to strengthen inner liners, hatches, and other areas.
Propulsion systems
Mayla SPEEDSTER are powered by a choice of engines from leading manufacturers: ILMOR, Mercury and Teague Marine.
Upon specific request, custom motorization may be built-in as an option, including a choice of electric propulsion systems.
Depending on the model a choice of outboard engines may also be available.
Drives
For the most powerful engines, Mayla SPEEDSTER are also available with a patented tunnel prop drive technology from MSA, used for high-performance powerboats and fast military applications.
The half-tunnel above the propeller limits the amount of air intake from the surface-piercing propeller. Compared to conventional surface drives, this patented system increases the thrust and reduces the drag. It combines the direct transmission of power of a direct-shaft drive, and it limits the ventilation of the propellers in sharp turns. This improves the boat maneuverability.
Tunnel prop drive technology optimises performance and acceleration by over 10%.
